Based in Vienna (Austria) he digs skiing and economics, bemoans bureacracy and dreams of one day being able to live in a free world… although even a free country would do.

Two world wars and over a century of government expansion have done nothing to improve human freedoms in Menger’s homeland, where not only are people not free but they have lost the desire to be so. This condition appears to be endemic across Europe and indeed throughout most of the known world.
